He is a 41-year-old farmer. He is married with five children aged 17, 15, 13, 8 and 3 years and is named Alfred. Alfred lives in Fort Portal, Uganda in his own house but dreams of having a commercial building for rentals one day and of buying more land for his family.
Alfred’s wife is also a farmer and together they have a plantation and also rear goats to sell after maturity. He says theft and price fluctuations are his biggest threats in his business activities. This is Alfred’s first loan from HOFOKAM and he intends to use the funds to buy fertilizers for his plantation and one Boer goat to rear.
