Yelba Liliam's story

Yelba Lilliam is 39 years old, she is a single mother and she has two grown children. She sells bananas in the Oriental market. She uses her home as a warehouse. She has had this business for the past six years although at first she started out with a family inheritance. It was originally her father's business. When he passed away it was her mother that was left in charge. It should be noted that her siblings also tend to the same type of business. The biggest challenge she faces is when the banana harvests are poor, driving the prices up. She wishes to use this loan as a deposit to purchase more inventory so to improve her sales and her profits. Her dream to purchase larger quantities of product, to lower transportation costs, and improve her profits.
