B. En Desarrollo 1 Group's story

Eufemia is one of the members of Group B developing 1, made up of 5 micro businesswomen selling clothing, miscellaneous products, shoes, handicrafts, etc. She works in Samana, an upcoming tourist city on the Atlantic coast that is rich in natural resources. She is associated with Esperanza, Hope International, and she began about 5 years ago and currently is very excited about receiving the ninth loan after having satisfactorily paid back the previous ones. Eufemia is married and has 6 children, although only two still live with her.

Eufemia began with a small investment and bought perfume with it. She will use the ninth loan to buy Ropas lingerie but she continues selling perfumes and other products. She will use her earnings to buy other necessities for her home as well as for her business, such as: a sewing machine, a computer for her children, etc. Now she will also save to build a small place for her business. Her main goal is to give her family a more stable life and she plans to accomplish this by working so that her business grows and becomes sustainable. She loves to read the Bible.

In this group: Eufemia, Clarisol, Guillermina, Rumalda, Juana
