A loan of $375 helped to make improvements to her restaurant.

Yolanda's story

Yolanda is a 25 year-old mother who lives with her husband and their small son in the rural Santa Clara settlement, an agricultural area located in the Pitipo district in the Ferreñafe province, which is located an hour from the city of Chiclayo.

For 4 years she has been selling beer and food in a restaurant attached to her home. There she offers her customers some dishes such as ceviche, fish stew and dishes made from a base of dried meat, which are usually consumed with beer. This business is well-received by her customers, since she offers good service and prepares tasty dishes. Her husband works as a farmer, and with the income that they both earn they try to get ahead with their family.

Yolanda wants to make some improvements to her restaurant, and to do this she is requesting for the first time a loan from Edpyme Alternativa for 1,000 Peruvian soles.

She is a woman who is quite calm and responsible. The people who know her consider her to be tranquil and reliable.
