Clementina's story

Mrs. Clentina D. is a member of the San Vicente community bank. She lives in the city of San Pedro, which is part of the Victoria del Portete parrish. Most people in the city are involved with farming and agriculture and have come to this city in search of a better job.

Clentina is 66 years of age and has been a widow for 3 years. She has 7 children who are older and live independently with their families. She and her deceased husband built their own home with earnings from her business.

Clentina works performing household chores and also raises guinea pigs, chickens and cows, which she sells in her town. She also grows her own vegetables and sells her produce in her city. Clentina has been a community bank member partner for 3 years, and has great friendships with all the other bank's partners. This new loan will be used to purchase chickens and chicken feed. Her dream is to stay healthy.
