A loan of $1,075 helped payment of the first installment on an automobile that will be hired out.

Roberto's story

Roberto is 55 years old and has his own house, built from high quality materials. He lives in the house with his 2 young children and they all have hopes of improving their lives. It was hard for Roberto to raise his children alone, since their mother left the country to pursue better work opportunities when the children were very young.

Roberto currently works as a security guard at an apartment complex. Through a lot of hard work, he was able to build his house and put his children through school. They are now preparing to apply to college. Roberto likes his job; he knows it is a big responsibility to insure the safety of the residents at the complex and works hard every day to do the best he can.

His oldest son helps him by working 1 day a week so that Roberto can rest. Roberto has a lot of plans for the future, like setting up his own business. He hasn't yet decided what kind of business he wants to start, so in the meantime he keeps working to support his children. This is his sixth loan from MFP and he is committed to making his payments on time, so that he can make a good impression with all the people who made possible the credit that will allow him to continue developing. Roberto plans to use this loan to pay the first installment on an automobile that he will rent out. In this way, Roberto hopes to improve his income.
