Felipa Rosario's story

Felipa, 60 years old, lives in an urban area in the Guayaquil suburbs, described as such because the majority of the residents are businesspeople. She has a small general store in her home.

She started the store to be able to support her family and have money to continue helping her children, since she has 7 children. She is selling rice, sugar, and beverages. She earned money by putting a small store in the back part of her house. She sells all types of goods. She works from 7 am to 11 pm every day.

In order to continue with her business, she needs to buy rice, sugar, and display cases. In the future she wants her store to be better stocked so she will be secure in her old age.
