This member belongs to "The Friendly" Communal Bank, located in the district of UROC, Quispicanchis Province, Department of Cusco. Her name is Mrs. Braulia. She is 46 years old and married with three children. She sells chicha, a fermented beverage maD. of maize, and food from her house. Her business is situated in her home, and she herself ferments the maize and cooks for her guests. On the weekends, she travels to the fair where farmers gather to buy new cattle. It is there that she sells her home-cooked meals. She is requesting a loan to invest in buying food ingredients and also to purchase maize for chicha.

The other members work in bars and restaurants as well as in sales of breads, meals, mates, and dry goods.

Mrs. Braulia is grateful and appreciates receiving a loan through this process, and she promises to make her payments in a timely manner.
