A loan of $725 helped to increase her stock in clothing.

Genoveva's story

Genoveva, 42, is a very hard-working, married mother who lives in her own home along with her husband and their two children. In the mornings she works in a Wawa Wasi (a government program whose function is to care for children while their mothers, most of them single, are at work). Likewise in the afternoons she works selling clothing. This latter business is by special order.

In the beginning she began with a few articles of clothing but now her business has become established so there is always a lot of demand from her customers or friends who live near her. She enjoys speaking with her customers the most. However, she has to take a lot of precautions with the clothing and especially with lighter-colored garments since her customers are sharp-eyed at the moment of purchasing the product. Thus she wishes to purchase some display cases in order to show off the products she has and also to keep them in good condition.

This is her 15th loan with MFP and she states that the loan will be highly beneficial in the development of her business. With the current loan she plans to purchase more clothing to increase her stock.
