Sopp Serigne Bara Group's story

The SOPP SERIGNE BARA solidarity group was created four and a half years ago at the inauguration of the Banc Villageois of Keur Moussa, to which the group belongs. It is composed of ten members, all from the same neighborhood.

Mrs. Kahdy G. is the head of the group. She appears at the far left of the photo with her hand raised. She is 36 years old, married, and has four children. She also has two other children entrusted in her care by relatives.

Mrs. G. sells eggs. She buys her stocks from poultry farmers for resale at the markets. She has been working in this trade for seven years.

With her new loan of 120,000FCFA, she will buy a large supply of eggs to better serve her customers and increase her profits.

Her goal is to support herself, help feed the family and furnish her home.

In this group: Khady, Ndoumbe, Aïssatou, Fatma, Dieynaba, Sokhna, Khady, Ndeye Bass, Maguette, Nogaye
