Senora Lopez is originally from the municipality of El Sauce. She works as a small business owner of a small shop where she sells basic grocery items. She has had this business for over nine years. She has worked with Ceprodel for over four years, where she has been given four credits. She is applying for this credit to use towards the purchase of rice, sugar, oil, bread, soap, candy, soft drinks, playing cards, chlorine, and medicine, with the objective of stocking her shop.

L. es originaria del municipio de El Sauce, se desempeña como una pequeña comerciante donde su negocio consiste en una pequeña pulpería donde ofrece abarrotería en general a dichos pobladores, tiene nueve años de tener este negocio. Tiene cuatro años de trabajar con ceprodel donde le han otorgado cuatro créditos. El crédito lo solicitó para la compra de arroz, azúcar, aceite, pan, jabón, golosinas, gaseosas, ace, cloro y medicamento con el objetivo de surtir su negocio.
This loan is administered by Centro de Promocion del Desarrollo Local (CEPRODEL), one of Kiva’s larger partners in Central America. Founded in 1991 and based in Managua, Nicaragua, CEPRODEL specializes in the development and funding of housing cooperatives for traditionally marginalized communities, the provision of microfinance services to small businesses, and the promotion of innovative renewable energy projects. In addition, unlike many microfinance institutions in the area that have chosen to avoid the rural areas of the country due to the increased financial risk, CEPRODEL provides financial services to numerous clients in the agriculture and livestock industry.
