Ovidio se dedica a la siembra de semilla de maíz la cual cultiva para posteriormente comercializarla en diferentes negocios. Su esposa le ayuda a vender el maíz en su casa de habitación y así mismo sale a ofrecerlo en los mercados del lugar. Ovidio solicita un préstamo con el deseo de contar con el dinero necesario para invertir en más maíz para sembrar y así mismo para comprar todos los implementos necesarios como abono, y otros más para lograr una excelente cosecha.
