A loan of $150 helped working capital.

Yelixa Carolina's story

Yelixa is the young mother of a three year old child. Yelixa makes and sells food, and she has a food store. She started her business three years ago because she did not have any income.

Her business is located in her home. That is where a great variety of customers come to enjoy her dishes like “gallo pinto” (a typical Nicaraguan dish made of red beans and rice mixed together), fried cheese, fried plantains, and meat and chicken pies.

She is an excellent client. She is very responsible, and she is happy with this opportunity. She will use the loan to buy raw materials to make her food.
