Kasenyi Community Progressive Group, Mubende's story

They say that hard work pays and a very hard working and friendly M. Dorothy has gained from the fruits of hard work. She started her restaurant enterprise over 30 years ago, offering catering services in the Trading centre in Mubende. Here she prepares breakfast meals, local dishes for lunch and supper for the customers.

Due to good management and esteemed customer care, the business has maintained customers for a long time. She created a good market by maintaining high levels of hygiene. Most of her customers are town dwellers. With this loan, Dorothy wants to put in place good furniture and buy foodstuffs and drinks as she looks at improving the quality of services offered. This will enable her to get more customers, earn more profit and be able to cater to her family's needs like education. She is very optimistic about achieving a self-sustaining life with more income coming her way.
