A loan of $4,150 helped a member to purchase beverages.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The community bank Mujeres Unidas belongs to the district of Acoria in Huancavelica.
Lucy is married. She has 2 children who are 14 and 15 years old who are in school. Lucy has a little store which she has outfitted little by little. Right now, she sells natural gas. Her biggest problem is the health problems that she has. Being in her community bank has allowed her to save and thus outfit the business and buy the products she offers wholesale.

Lucy is asking for a loan to purchase products for her store. She will also buy beverages because a patron saint festival is coming up in the community and at that time sales increase. Her dream is to grow her business and to have a large and diverse store.
