Jocelyn S. is from the town of Aurora. She is 31 years old. Jocelyn is married and has 3 children. Her eldest child is only aged 7. To make a living, Jocelyn owns & operates a business venture in the agriculture sector raising crops. While not the only means for generating revenue, the main source of income for the business comes primarily from planting and harvesting rice for sale. Jocelyn says she works hard especially now that her children are starting to go to school.
Jocelyn joined CEVI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Jocelyn has successfully repaid a previous loan from CEVI. Jocelyn is requesting a new loan of 7000 PHP which will be used to purchase fertilizer such as manure. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve her business.
