Raul's story

Don Raúl is 56 years old and engages in farming and ranching. He also has a store in his home where he sells necessary household products. Raul is married and lives with his wife and two children (ages 26 and 24) in El Transito in the Department of San Miguel. His wife took the initiative to start their business and always helps him as much as possible with the work. They do not adhere to a set schedule when managing their business, but Don Raúl in his job as a farmer wants to focus on growing corn. However, he does not have the money to buy the necessary supplies or to invest in his store.

Raúl is requesting a loan to buy compost and fertilizers for growing corn. Part of the loan will be used to stock his store with merchandise. The funds will help him accomplish both goals of harvesting corn and increasing the inventory at his business.

Raúl hopes to offer a variety of products to his customers, obtain a good harvest of corn to feed his family, and generate more income so that he can cover his expenses.
