Rosa Nery's story

Rosa is a 44 year old wife and mother who lives with her husband and children in the La Matanza district, and agricultural area in the Morropón province in the Piura region. It is more than three hours and a half from the city of Chiclayo, capital of the Lambayeque region.

For three years she has been selling basic necessity items and groceries in a store located in her home. There she offers her customers different products for daily consumption and she always tries to make sure they are of good quality to be able to keep her customers' loyalty. The income she receives from these activities she uses to help her husband with the family expenses.
