Luzolo Plus Group's story

Nzuzi D., aged 42, is the manager of a Community Bank named “Luzolo Plus”. It is composed of 15 members united in solidarity for receiving Kiva loans with the goal of developing their businesses. Nzuzi single, has been part of the micro-enterprise world since 1988. He sells beverages. His business is located to the south-west of Kinshasa. Nzuzi has already received six times the MFI HOPE DRC loans and repaid them correctly. The loan he will obtain next will be used to buy more crates of drinks to resell retail with the goal of increasing his profits. His business generates a profit of $73 per week. Nzuzi’s ambition is to become a beverage provider in his area. He has a son and takes care of two other children who attend school.
