A loan of $1,500 helped purchase seasonal flowers and stands and shelves to showcase products.

Ossama's story

Ossama is a 25-year-old wife and mother of one who has for the last year-and-a-half been the owner of a florist shop. The last loan which Ossama received from Al-Majmoua improved the standard of living for her and her family by helping her expand her business and become more self-reliant. The applicant’s shop is distinguished by its owner’s exquisite taste as well as its 24-hour services ready to meet anyone’s needs. Among the larger orders the applicant fills are those for wedding flowers and decorating wedding caravans with flowers. The applicant’s patrons come from the general area and include hotel and restaurant owners, wedding providers, and tourists. The biggest obstacle which Ossama faced at the outset of her work was lack of name recognition, but her persistence has conveyed her to the peak of success. The applicant is now asking for a loan of $1500 to purchase seasonal flowers as well as stands and shelves to more aesthetically showcase her products. Ossama also hopes to eventually establish a wedding providing agency.
