Nidal is a hard-working and active young man. He is 33 years old, married, and has two children. He has been working in the business of stone cutting for the past 14 years, but only started own business in 2008. At first Nidal encountered difficulties such as not being known by customers and his limited experience. Things have, however, started to change and he is gaining customers’ trust. His passion for the stone craft and his good experience are what have made it possible for him to have his own business. Nidal submitted a request for a loan from the Lebanese Association for Development, Al-Majmoua, in order to purchase new casts for industrial stone molding, as well as to complete the construction of his workshop. Nidal aims to expand his business and enlarge his workshop.
