Margarita's story

Margarita, 43, is married and lives with her husband and children in Cruce de Vega, an agricultural area known primarily for fruit cultivation, mostly mangoes and lemons. It is part of Piura province, Piura region, located over three and a half hours from the city of Chiclayo.

She and her husband have worked in farming-related activities since they got married. She has farmlands where she has planted mango and lemon trees. The plants are currently in their optimal production phase and she and her children harvest fruit weekly to sell to local processing plants that prepare the products for export to various countries abroad.

In addition she raises chickens and roosters in her back yard. Her husband is employed as a laborer by a local agricultural estate. Income they both earn from their respective activities is used to provide for the family in the best possible way.

Margarita wants to get some fertilizer for crop maintenance. She is asking Edpyme Alternativa for her first, 500 new sol, loan to reach this objective.

Her greatest wish is to continue working to get her family ahead. Her neighbors and acquaintances consider her to be a levelheaded, responsible person.
