Yolanda's story

Yolanda D. is from Barangay Lantap, Bagabag, Nueva Vizcaya. She is 41 years old. Yolanda is married and has 3 school-aged children. To make a living, Yolanda owns & operates a business raising livestock, primarily pigs for breeding. Yolanda has been engaged in her business for over 5 years and earns approximately 3500 PHP a month for these activities.

In 2008, Yolanda joined ASKI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and her ability to engage in business activities. Yolanda has successfully repaid a previous loan of 10,000 PHP from ASKI. This previous loan was used to purchase breeding livestock. Yolanda is requesting a new loan of 15000 PHP which will be used to purchase livestock feed & other supplies. This will be the 2nd loan taken out by Yolanda from ASKI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to pay the tuition fees of her children.
