Anita B., 31, is from the town of Banga. She is married. To make a living, Anita owns & operates a business venture in the agriculture sector raising crops. The main source of income for the business comes from planting, harvesting and selling rice. She has been engaged in her business for over 6 years and earns approximately 2,500 PHP a month.
Anita joined CEVI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. She has successfully repaid a previous loan from CEVI, and is requesting a new loan of 8,000 PHP, which will be used to purchase sacks of fertilizer and other items for her farm. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to support her family financially.
