A loan of $550 helped to buy recycled articles (scrap metal) to enlarge her sales business.

Sandra Isabel's story

Sandra is a 29-year old mother of one son and she lives with her family in the Ramón Castilla section of the Lambayeque district, a busy commercial area that is 20 minutes from the city of Chiclayo.

She has been buying and selling recycled materials (scrap metal) from her home for the last four years. She leaves the materials in one part of her house and offers it for sale to business people who often come by. She also sells beauty products through a catalog. With this work she helps with the financial support of her family..

Sandra would like to enlarge her business by being able to buy scrap metal in such a way that she can receive better earnings from the sales. Since she doesn’t have enough capital to do this, she decided to request a loan of 1500 new sols from Edpyme Alternativa.

She is a hard-working woman and she puts a great effort in every day to have her business get ahead. She is well-liked in the area where she lives, and appreciated by her neighbors who consider her a peaceful and trustworthy woman.
