Helen's story

Helen C. is from the village of Mitacas, Balliangao. She is 39 years old, married and has 5 school-aged children. To make a living, Helen owns and operates a business raising hogs to sell. Helen has been engaged in her business for over 15 years and earns approximately 4,000 PHP a month from these activities.

In 2005, Helen joined PMPC to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Helen has successfully repaid a previous loan of 2,000 PHP from PMPC.

Helen is requesting a new loan of 11,000 PHP which will be used as additional capital for hog fattening. This loan will be the 8th loan taken out by Helen from PMPC.
