Bolivar Antonio's story

Bolívar Antonio R. M. is 43 years old. He is married and lives in the San Miguel canton of the Bolívar province. He has seven children; ages 22, 20, 16, 13, 11, 8, and 6.

Antonio is a member of the San Isidro Communal Bank, which is located one and a half hours from San Miguel. There are ten members in all, and most of them grow corn and wheat.

Antonio is a farmer, and he grows corn, wheat, barley, and peas. He buys and sells his products in San Pablo every eight days.

He is requesting the loan to buy fertilizers, seeds, and the agricultural products needed for production. The support from the loan will help in work in order to help his children. His goal for the coming years is to make more agricultural progress. The crop diseases have been strong this year, and they have affected a large percentage of his corn crop.

He likes to play volleyball.
