A loan of $300 helped purchase sodas & beer.

Gaby's story

Gaby is a young mother who has the desire to succeed. She lives in her own home with her husband and two children. Gaby has a business selling fast foods, such as French fries and fried chicken, which are in great demand during the afternoon hours. Her vending post is set up on the doorstep of her house. She begins cleaning around 6pm so that her customers will be comfortable while eating their food. What she enjoys most about her work is the ability to be independent. In addition, she gets great satisfaction from knowing that she can double her sales on the weekends. Gaby has been in business for three years and considers the most difficult part to be working during the winter because she puts her health at risk by being out in the elements. In the future, she plans to build a house and diversify her business by selling clothing.

Gaby is requesting her first loan from MFP and promises to complete her payments on time. She wants to be eligible for subsequent loans so that she can continue improving her business. The loan she is requesting will be used to buy beer and sodas since her customers consume more of these beverages on the weekends.
