Mama M., who is holding the sign, is the leader of this group of five borrowers called Working For Tomorrow. She is 30 years old and married. She has three children who are between the ages of 1 month and 12 years. She was only able to attend school through 8th grade due to financial constraints.

For seven years, she has been selling charcoal in the Fiamah Market in Monrovia, Liberia. She plans to use her 6,000-Liberian-Dollars portion of this 30,000-Liberian-Dollars group loan to buy more bags of charcoal.

She describes herself as a hard-working woman whose goals are to improve her business and to educate her children.
