God Is Able Group's story

George W., who is holding the sign, is the leader of this group of five borrowers called 'God Is Able'. He is 65 years old, married, and has nine children who are between the ages of 30 and 6 years old. He was only able to attend school through 9th grade due to financial constraints.

For 4 years, he has been selling soap, oil, milk, onions, tomatoes, sugar, tea, butter, hair grease, etc. in 72nd Market outside of Monrovia, Liberia. He plans to use his 8,000 Liberian Dollar portion of this 40,000 Liberian Dollar group loan to buy more soap, oil, milk, onions, tomatoes, sugar, tea, butter, hair grease, etc.
