A loan of $4,150 helped a member purchase of clothing to sell and construction materials.

Santa Teresa Group's story

The committee was formed in the neighborhood of Villa Bonita in the city of Villa Elisa. The committee currently consists of 15 members, all residents of the neighborhood. We'll focus on Juana M., who is the director of the committee. She's married and lives in her own home with her husband. She sells clothing for women, men, and children. Juana is very hardworking and she loves her home. She runs her business out of her house from a small sitting room where she displays her merchandise for her clients. She wants to expand her business by buying more varieties of clothing because spring is around the corner and she will use the rest of the loan to finish her house.
