Eam's story

Eam K., 38, is married and resides with her husband and four children in Kampong Cham Province, Cambodia, an area known for rubber plantations. K. grows banana trees for an income of approximately $9 per day. Her husband is a teacher at a local primary school, earning an income of about $2.50 per day. K. is requesting a loan of $1000 to purchase bananas to resell. In the future, she would like to use any additional profit to repair her house. This is her first loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner in Cambodia.
