Rosa Elvira's story

Rosa Elvira is 28 years old, married and has two children; she lives with her family in Huamantanga Sialupe sector, a rural area of the mainly agricultural district of Lambayeque, known for its moderate commercial development and located half an hour from the city of Chiclayo.
Her business is animale sale; she raises, buys and sells all kinds of small animals like sheep, turkeys and ducks. Usually she buys them to fatten and sell them around the region. This business is supported by her husband, who also provides transportation on a motorcycle taxi. Together they try to take care of their family, struggling day by day with their business activities.
Rosa Elvira wants to expand her business and she would like to buy more animals for breeding and sale so that she can increase sales and consequently her income. To achieve this goal, she requested a loan of 1,500 soles by Edpyme Alternativa . She is very devoted to her family and her greatest wish is to give her children a good education that will ensure them a promising future. Among her neighbors and friends she is known as a quiet and responsible woman.
