Hong T., 42, is married and lives with her four young children in the Takeo province. She is a farmer who works for less than $1 each day, while her husband, pictured here, is a moto-taxi driver making $3 each day.

The weather conditions have been difficult for farming in Cambodia this past year and inflation has caused food prices to skyrocket. These factors have played into a difficult economic year for many Cambodians, Hong T. included. In light of these economic difficulties, she is asking for a loan of $1200 to purchase a trailer to attach to her husband’s motorbike. This will allow him to transport more people at one time.
