A loan of $3,000 helped to purchase a large amount of food for her store.

Enhgerel's story

Enhgerel S. is a 56-year old widow who lives with her daughter and son-in law in a ger, a traditional Mongolian nomadic tent, in Tuv province in Mongolia. She manages her grocery store with the help of her daughter. She has been in business since 2008. Her methods and experience have improved and grown, and the number of her clients has increased.

Initially she started in business by managing a computer game center service with working capital of a half million MNT, but now it has grown to 5,000,000 MNT (3,748 USD). Her family managed to expand their small store into a newer and bigger one with their business profit.

Enhgerel is a hard-working, modest woman who would like to keep growing her business further. She says, “I wish I could help my daughter to get a house with our business profits.” She is requesting a 4,000,000 MNT (2,998 USD) loan in order to purchase a large amount of food to be sold in the store and increase her working capital as well.
