Jovelyn's story

Jovelyn A. is from the village of District II, Benito Soliven, Isabela. She is 38 years old. Jovelyn is married and has 1 school-aged child. To make a living, Jovelyn owns & operates a general storewhere she sells a variety of different products in the local community. Jovelyn has been engaged in her business for over 12 years and earns approximately 12,000 PHP a month for these activities.

In 2010, Jovelyn joined ASKI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and her ability to engage in business activities. Jovelyn has successfully repaid a previous loan of 8,000 PHP from ASKI. This previous loan was used to purchase additional products to sell. Jovelyn is requesting a new loan of 8,000 PHP which will be used to purchase additional products to sell. This will be the 2nd loan taken out by Jovelyn from ASKI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve and expand her business.
