A loan of $1,000 helped buy vegetables, basic grains, and fruit.

Rosa Melida's story

Rosa Melida P. D. G. is 59 years old. She lives with her two grown daughters and three grandchildren in the Soyapango municipality.

Rosa has an eatery where she makes breakfast and lunch from Monday through Saturday. Because her business is close to the Soyapango market she has many fixed customers. They allow her to maintain a stable business. This is the only source of income that she has, and her daughters and grandchildren help her in the eatery. Rosa is completely dependent upon her business.

She is requesting a loan to buy a greater quantity of vegetables, basic grains, fruit, and everything that is needed to increase her sales. That way she and her family will be able to have more stability.
