A loan of $3,600 helped a member to buy garlic and spices.

Mujeres Talentosas Group's story

This committee was formed through Mrs. Eladia A. and Mrs. Norma Martínez who approached Fundación Paraguaya’s office to join the Mujeres Emprendedoras (Enterprising Women) Committee’s Program. They then invited their friends and colleagues from the neighborhood to join in order to get ahead and improve their way of life as a group. They are 16 hard working, humble women who must earn their livelihood every day.

One of the members is Rosa. She is very humble but succeeds in earning income for her family through her work.

She sells spices like: cumin, garlic, white and black pepper, organs and natural remedies that she buys in bulk and repackages for ease of sale and to increase profits.

She is asking for a loan to buy spices and garlic.

In this group: Rosa , Norma , Hilda, Victoriana, Catalina, Maria Liza, Limpia, Maria, Eladia, Juana, Gloria, Cruz, Teresa, Benigna, Catalina, Marizza
