A loan of $550 helped buy products to stock her store.

Judith's story

Judith, age 38, lives in her own house with her 38 year old husband, Jaime, and their four children. Two of the children are grown and independent. Therefore, she only has the two youngest under her care. They live together in a populous neighborhood north of the city.

Every day is new for this hard-working woman. For two years she has had a grocery store installed in her house. She says that the work in the business is peaceful. She gets good earnings without neglecting her household. When she needs to leave, her children help her and stay in the business.

She says that, little by little, she has managed to better establish her store. At the beginning she only started with some food products, and now she offers her customers a greater variety. What she likes most about her work in interacting and talking with her customers. It is very entertaining.

As an entrepreneurial woman, she plans to better stock her store. She also wants to improve her store’s facilities to make her purchasers more comfortable.

This is her second loan with MFP. She pledges to make her payments on time because she is very grateful to the people who made the loan possible. The loan will allow her to continue working in the pursuit of progress. Judith plans to use the requested loan to buy merchandise for her grocery store. She wants to offer her customers greater variety. She wants to make their shopping easier because the place where she lives is somewhat far away.
