Rosalie's story

Rosalie J. is from the village of Sinait. She is 42 years old and is married with one school-aged child.

Rosalie owns and operates a business planting and harvesting rice for sale. She has been engaged in her business for over ten years and earns approximately 30,000 PHP per harvest.

In 2010, Rosalie joined ASKI to gain access to financial services to help improve her living situation and her ability to engage in business activities. She has successfully repaid a previous loan of 10,000 PHP from ASKI. This previous loan was used to purchase additional seeds, seedlings and young crops to raise.

Rosalie is requesting a new loan of 13,000 PHP which will be used to purchase fertilizer such as manure. This loan will be her 2nd from ASKI. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to improve and expand her business.
