A loan of $300 helped purchase of corn, wood and gas to make tortillas.

Petronila Del Carmen's story

Petronila lives in Transito de San Miguel. She is a single mother of two sons who are 17 and 13 years old. Both children are supported by her. She sells tortillas and is 40 years old. She started her business on her own working from 8am to 5pm. For the time being, she does not have the necessary capital to invest in order to increase her income.

She requests a loan to buy corn, wood and gas, which are the materials she needs to make tortillas. The loan will help Petronila strengthen her business with more resources and therefore more income to her home.

Her dream is to grow her business, establish herself and provide her children what they need by improving their living condition.
