A loan of $500 helped to purchase pigs.

Reyna De La Paz's story

Reyna is a 53-year-old woman who is married and lives with her husband and grandson in San Rafael Oriente, located in San Miguel. She works raising pigs – she began her business because for many years, her husband had worked in this type of business and he provided her with all of the support so that she could start raising pigs. She does not have a specific schedule that she goes by in caring for the pigs.

Today, Reyna is requesting this loan because she wants to buy more pigs, as well as feed for them. This investment will help her to strengthen her business and to earn more to cover family expenses. There is a risk that a pig will become sick, which will be a loss of money for her.

Her dream is to have the business grow and to have a larger farm for the pigs, which will improve her economic condition in the long run.
