Maura Paula
Maura is 43 and she lives on the outskirts of the Paraíso de Guayaquil area, characterized by unpaved and mountainous streets.

15 years ago she began with her general store and one of the first products were cookies and snacks. Due to the demand for the items she began to buy canned goods, rice and oil. Little by little, with effort and after separating from her husband, she enlarged the store. Now she works with the help of her two adult children from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm every day.

To be able to better stock her store she wants to use the loan to buy rice, canned goods, etc. In the future she would like to have better merchandise in the store and to have a stationery shop called “Bazar” (Bazaar).
