Mirriam Jeptonui's story

Mirriam Jeptonui C. is 33 years old, married and has five children aged sixteen, fourteen, eight, five and three years old. Her husband, William Kipsang, is employed and contributes to the family’s household needs, such as school fees and food. Mirriam sells cereals and dried legumes in the town of Eldoret. She has been in business for the past five years and makes 4000 KES per month.

Mirriam learned about KADET through a friend. This will be her third loan with KADET. She plans to use the loan to purchase more stock like bags of maize and beans. With the income from these sales, she plans to pay back the loan and grow her business. With her husband’s help, Mirriam plans for her children to have the best education possible.
