Bulgan J. is 25 years old and lives with her husband and four year old son in Hovd province of western Mongolia. She and her family live in their own ger, a traditional Mongolian nomadic housing tent. Her son attends a local kindergarten and her husband works as a teacher in a local school. She has been operating a shoes trading business in the local trade center since 2009. She started her business by selling boots with white soles. Since then her business has expanded and she increased her product line. She provides a variety of shoes to satisfy her customer's needs. She is a very careful and hardworking person who says "It is difficult to get a job in my profession and so I decided to start my own business. In the future, I plan to establish a big shoestore."
Bulgan is requesting a 3,825,000 MNT loan in order to purchase more shoes, at wholesale prices, from the neighboring province, Uvs, and to build a yard around their ger.
