A loan of $375 helped purchase of fertilizer.

Aida's story

Aida, 56-years-old, is a simple, hardworking woman. She lives in her own house with her husband Augusto, 63-years-old, and their beloved younger daughter Alison, 19-years old. She wants to proviD. them with a better quality of life. Since she was very young Aida has worked on the farm with her parents, who taught her everything that had to be done to achieve a good cultivation. She now has her own land, which she cultivates and cares for with love and patience. She plants peas and potatoes, which she sells at the wholesale market in Tarma. What she likes most about her work is harvesting her crops because at that point she sees that her hard work is coming to fruition. She's performed this activity for 36 years and says that the most difficult thing is protecting her crops from plagues. She hopes to buy new lands with which she will expand her production. This is her eighth loan with MFP. She knows that she has to make her payments punctually and she's willing to do that. She's a happy member of her communal bank, where she always brings humor to the group. With the money she's requesting she will buy fertilizer for her land so that her latest crops will give good fruit.
