A loan of $625 helped for truck repair and maintenance.

Guillermo's story

Guillermo, 35, is a father living with his wife and two children in Los Higos, a rural area along the San José highway. This is a fishing area that is part of Lambayeque province located twenty minutes from the city of Chiclayo.

For the last 10 years he has provided cargo transportation services in a truck. He offers his services to area farmers who call on him every time they need to move their harvests to market. In addition, he also raises small farm animals and barnyard fowl for sale. These two activities make it possible for him to support his family and get them ahead.

Guillermo is asking Edpyme Alternativa for his first, 1700 new sol, loan to invest in vehicle repair and maintenance as well as in the purchase of more animals and feed for them. This investment will expand his business so that he can earn more and provide his family with improved quality of life.

Guillermo is quite well known and esteemed in his area. His neighbors consider him to be responsible and level headed.

His greatest wish is to offer his children the opportunity to study a career that will guarantee a stable future.
