A loan of $725 helped purchase four tires.

Santos's story

Santos is 49 years old and lives in his own home with his wife Cerila, age 44, and their three children, two of whom are adults. For the past four years he has been providing transportation services using a minibus. He manages this business with his oldest son. Both of them work together to provide better service. They take turns driving and collecting bus fare. Santos says his business is doing well and the earnings have allowed him to have a comfortable life. However, it is a little bit tedious to be driving almost every day. Even though the work can be stressful, he knows that this is the only way for him to get ahead so he keeps himself entertained. Santos did not originally own the minibus he uses for work. It belonged to a relative who traveled abroad, but was later sold to Santos. Since then, he pays to have the parts replaced. Being a hardworking gentleman who wants to get ahead even further, Santos plans to open a business that will allow him to relax and spend more time at home.

This is his fifth loan with MFP. Santos promises to complete his payments on time because he does not want to disappoint everyone who made this loan possible so that he could continue working. He plans to invest this loan in the purchase of four tires to replace the ones on his minibus that are already worn. This will enable him to provide better service.
