A loan of $725 helped to buy stock items for her store.

Maria's story

María, 38, is divorced and has three children to support: Yasmin, Kare and Elver who are 9, 8, and 4 years of age. She lives in Santa Rosa located in the beautiful Ayacuco jungle where she has her own house.

Her business is selling basic needs items. She is doing quite well. Her sales have improved over the previous ones. In fact, she has regular customers that always come to her establishment. However, she is aware that competition is fierce so she gives her best every day.

She usually works by herself from Monday to Sunday from 5:30am until 10pm. Her sales point is in her own neighborhood.

Her future plan is to have a poultry and pig ranch in order to diversify her customer base and improve her quality of life.

This is her 10th loan with MFP and she commits to continue to repay in a timely fashion. Besides, she is very satisfied with her communal bank because everyone is very mutually supportive.

She will use the requested funds to buy stock items for her grocery store.
