A loan of $1,075 helped to buy stock items for her store.

Bertha's story

Bertha, 34, is divorced and has four school aged children. They live in Santa Rosa located in the beautiful Peruvian tropical jungle in their own house.

Personal fulfillment is an important goal for Bertha and this is why she managed to have her own grocery store, a business that is in high demand in her location. Today, competition has increased so she must improve daily in order to continue to be the one preferred by her customers. She is happy with her work and it produces good profits which gives her economic security.

She normally works by herself but during school vacation periods her children help her. She is open for business Monday through Sunday from 6am until 10pm. Her sales point is in her own neighborhood. Notwithstanding, in the not so distant future she plans to expand her grocery business in order to attract more customers and improve her sales considerably.

This is her 5th loan with MFP and she pledges to continue repaying. Besides, she is satisfied with her communal bank because everyone is committed to their payments.

The requested funds will be used to buy merchandise in order to have her store well stocked.
